Tasting notes
It is obtained exclusively from an autochthonous Piedmontese variety, Arneis, vinified in purity. Before fermentation in steel, the primary aromas of the grapes are gently extracted from the grapes through a brief contact of the skins with the must. It is characterized by the characteristic bright straw yellow color, the intense nose of minerality, almost graphite, with hints of white flowers integrated with tropical fruits, and for that freshness on the palate that invites the next sip.

About this wine
Ceretto is a renowned wine producer located in the Piedmont region of Italy. The winery was founded in 1930 by Riccardo Ceretto and his wife, Giuliana, and is now run by their sons, Bruno and Marcello, who have continued the family tradition of producing high-quality wines. One of their most popular wines is the Blangé, which is made from the Arneis grape variety and is classified as a DOCG wine.
The production of the Blangé is a delicate process that requires careful attention to detail. The grapes are harvested by hand and then gently pressed to extract the juice. The juice is then fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature to preserve the delicate aromas and flavours of the Arneis grape.
The resulting wine is a pale straw colour with greenish highlights. On the nose, the Blangé has delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits and green apple. On the palate, the wine is fresh and crisp with a good balance of acidity and fruitiness. The Blangé is an excellent wine to pair with seafood, salads and light pasta dishes.
Ceretto's Blangé is a perfect example of the quality and style of wines that are produced in the Roero area of Piedmont. The winery's commitment to producing high-quality wines has earned them a reputation as one of the top wine producers in Italy.
If you are looking for a refreshing and elegant white wine, then Ceretto's Blangé is definitely worth trying. Its delicate aromas and flavours make it a perfect wine to enjoy on a warm summer day or to pair with light and fresh dishes. So, if you are a wine lover and want to experience the best of Italian wines, then Ceretto's Blangé is a must-try. Its quality and style are sure to impress even the most discerning wine connoisseur.
