A powerful yet refined Douro red displaying deep ruby hues. The nose offers ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and plum compote interlaced with graphite, cedar, and floral violet notes. On the palate, concentrated dark fruit is framed by polished, structured tannins and vibrant acidity. Hints of tobacco, espresso, and crushed stone emerge on the long, mineral-driven finish.

About this wine
Casa Ferreirinha is one of the Douro's most respected table-wine producers, and Quinta da Leda is their single-quinta expression from the far eastern reaches of the valley, where a continental climate and schist soils push ripeness and concentration. The blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is unusual for the Douro but handled with clear purpose.
Expect a structured, full-bodied red with dark fruit, graphite and an earthy, mineral backbone, firm tannins that reward decanting and a long, savoury finish. On board, serve alongside rack of lamb, aged beef, truffle-based dishes, or a serious cheese board.
