Tasting notes
A classic Islay single malt with a balance of sweet and smoky character. Notes of dark chocolate, citrus, and a gentle peat smoke, with hints of honey and dried fruit on the palate, finishing with a warm, lingering smokiness.

About this whisky
Bowmore is one of Islay's defining single malt distilleries, sitting on the shores of Loch Indaal on Scotland's most celebrated whisky island. The distillery produces a range of expressions at 40% ABV, each rooted in the island's character.
Islay single malts from Bowmore typically balance peat smoke with a sweeter, more coastal quality, sea salt, dried fruit and gentle brine rather than raw iodine. On board, pour after dinner neat or over a single large ice cube; it holds its own alongside dark chocolate, smoked cheeses or a quiet evening anchorage.
