The Arbois Chardonnay les Bruyères was produced with grapes grown on clay soils from the Trias period and matured in barrel for two years. It's quite fresh for a concentrated vintage, given the low yield provoked by the spring frost that decimated the crop. All these 2017s show very good freshness and less alcohol than most wines from the year. It combines power and elegance and comes through as terribly balanced and tasty.

About this wine
Benedicte et Stephane Tissot is a family-run winery located in the Jura region of France. Founded in the late 19th century, the winery has been producing high-quality wines for over a century. Their Arbois Chardonnay Les Bruyeres is a classic example of the region's style of Chardonnay. The grapes are grown in the limestone soils of the Arbois appellation, and the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
The result is a full-bodied, complex Chardonnay with aromas of ripe apples, citrus, and a hint of oak. On the palate, the wine is rich and creamy, with a long finish. It pairs well with seafood, poultry, and creamy cheeses, making it a great choice for any occasion.
If you're looking for a unique and flavorful Chardonnay, Benedicte et Stephane Tissot's Arbois Chardonnay Les Bruyeres is a great option. With its complex aromas and flavors, it's sure to be a hit at any gathering.
