The little brother of Brunello is born from sangiovese from the best vineyards of the winery and which, subjected to a double fermentation, give a wine that ages for a year in barrels of two wines and in oak barrels from Slavonia. The result of this meticulous elaboration is a particularly flowing, balanced and easy-drinking red. The Argiano Rosso shares with the Brunello the elegance resulting from the terroir of Montalcino and the generous characteristics of the Sangiovese but it is more fruity, more immediate, more lively than its big brother. On the nose, it offers clear aromas of red fruits and violets on a serious balsamic background that evokes the taste of its land. On the palate, it is expressive, fresh, balanced and with a velvety texture

Italy's most ancient wine region, Tuscany may not be a heavyweight in terms of quantity, but as the home of two of the country's most famous fine wines – Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino – it certainly holds its own in terms of quality. Tuscany's climate ranges from Mediterranean on the coast to continental deep in the Apennines. More than two thirds of the province is covered with hills, an important terroir factor in its fine wines.
