About this whisky
Aberfeldy - 12 yrs
Aberfeldy 12 Years Old is a Scotch whisky from Speyside, Scotland, bottled at 43% ABV. It is a honeyed dram, with sweetness at the front and a little smoke well in the background.
Honey leads, with fruit and spice behind it. Vanilla runs generously through the whole dram, and just a hint of smoke gives it some shape.
Aberfeldy is the name behind the bottle. Scotch whisky is distilled from cereal grain, and this one leans towards the sweeter side of the style, with honey, vanilla and spice all in evidence.
Serve it neat, or with a little water to open up the honey and fruit. For something mixed, the signature serve is the Aberfeldy Highland Sunset, a cocktail built around this whisky.
