Roda Reserva is made by taking the wines from the plots which, when mature, express the ripe red fruit. The amount of Garnacha and Graciano in the coupage varies, depending on the characteristics of each vintage. All wines undergo alcoholic fermentation in large French oak vats at a controlled temperature, and malolactic fermentation takes place in French barrels. The wine ages for 14 months in French oak barrels, 40% new and 60% second use. It stabilises naturally and is clarified with egg whites for bottling. It then rests in the bottles for 30 months before going to market. Roda Reserva is a red fruit explosion that combines Riojan elegance and versatile modernity.
