The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne exhibits aromas of pear, white flowers, fresh peach, mint and praline. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, it's rich and textural, with succulent acids and a gourmand, generous profile. As usual, this is a cuvée produced with purchased grapes from a parcel farmed and harvested by the Sauzet team.
The Sauzet team run the vineyards then purchase the grapes. Pretty and lively colour with a fine floral bouquet, a touch of spring flowers. Punchy in a good way, lemon and lime flavours but with adequate ripeness, leaves an attractive tingle on the tongue and medium plus length.

Le chardonnay est le premier cépage des vins blancs de Bourgogne, avec 48 % de l'encépagement et 68 % de la production. Le chardonnay apprécie le sol marneux de la Bourgogne, qui lui confère de délicats arômes floraux, fruités et minéraux, ainsi que des saveurs corsées. L'aligoté est le deuxième cépage blanc, avec 6 % de la production. {En savoir plus sur l'ancien cépage aligoté en Bourgogne.}

The grapes grown in Puligny-Montrachet are carefully tended to by skilled winemakers who use traditional methods to produce wines that are true to the terroir of the region. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted, and then gently pressed to extract the juice.
