Deep ruby with garnet hues, this Sardinian Riserva opens with concentrated aromas of dried cherry, sun-baked earth, and Mediterranean scrub, with hints of leather, tobacco, and warm spice. On the palate, rich flavors of black plum, pomegranate, and dried herbs are framed by firm but polished tannins. Argiolas makes this Riserva from Cannonau, Sardinia's own strain of Grenache, grown on the island under the Cannonau di Sardegna DOC.
