Telmo Rodriguez - Pegaso Granito - Castille et Leon VT

Telmo Rodriguez makes Pegaso Granito under the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León designation, working with old-vine Grenache grown on the granite soils that give the wine its name. It is a serious, terroir-driven red from a lesser-known corner of Spanish Grenache country.

The granite terroir shows through in a taut, mineral edge alongside ripe red fruit and a savoury, herbal lift. At 14.5% abv it carries real structure, making it a natural match for beef, lamb or venison, and versatile enough for pasta dishes and roasted poultry. Serve at 16-18°C to let the fruit and minerality open up.
