Tasting notes
Meaning ‘the original’ in Gaelic, A’bunadh is made in homage to Aberlour’s founder, James Fleming. A’bunadh is a whisky hand-made from start to finish with each batch being created to ensure a rich and complex flavour of moist raisin, and homemade fruit cake. It is bottled at cask strength resulting in a robust and deeply intense, sherried whisky.Auburn gold colour. Aromas of mixed spices, praline and spiced orange harmonising with rich, deep notes of Oloroso Sherry. Palate full of fruit flavours; orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger spiked with dark bitter chocolate and enriched with Sherry and Oak. Full bodied and creamy. Robust and intense finish with bitter-sweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate and oak.

About this whisky
Aberlour - A' Bunadh is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Aberlour Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Founded in 1879, the distillery is renowned for its traditional production methods and use of the finest ingredients.
A' Bunadh is a cask-strength whisky, meaning it is bottled at its natural strength, without any additional water or dilution. It is matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry and American oak casks, giving it a deep, rich flavour. The whisky has a deep amber colour and a complex aroma of dried fruits, toffee and spices.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with notes of dried fruits, toffee, nuts and spices. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of smoke. A' Bunadh is a classic example of a Speyside single malt, and is a must-try for any whisky enthusiast.
