Celler del Roure

Celler del Roure is a Spanish winery located in Valencia, in the eastern coastal region of the same name. The estate produces wines under the Valencia Denominación de Origen, working within one of Spain's most historic winemaking areas that has been producing wine since Roman times.

The Valencia wine region benefits from a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters, along with diverse soil types ranging from clay-limestone to sandy compositions. This coastal area has traditionally focused on both indigenous Spanish varieties and international grapes, with winemakers increasingly exploring the potential of both local and global varietals in this distinctive terroir. The region's proximity to the Mediterranean Sea moderates temperatures and provides favorable conditions for grape ripening.

Celler del Roure currently works with Chardonnay, producing their Cullerot bottling which represents their approach to this internationally recognized white grape variety within the Valencia appellation framework.
