Tasting notes
Luminous golden hue with green highlights. The nose opens with white peach, hawthorn blossom, and toasted brioche, underpinned by flinty minerality and a whisper of fresh butter. On the palate, this is precise and tensile, with lemon curd, roasted almond, and crushed chalk framing the mid-palate richness. Beautifully balanced acidity carries a long, saline finish with lingering notes of white flower and toasted oak.

About this wine
Domaine Marc Morey et Fils produces this Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru from the En Virondot vineyard, a Chardonnay site within one of Burgundy's most reliable white appellations. At 13.5% abv, it has the body typical of the region's better crus.
On board it suits a similar table to other Chassagne whites: shellfish, pasta in rich sauces, Brie and other soft cheeses, plus oily fish like mackerel or salmon. It also works well alongside a charcuterie board. Serve at 12-14°C to show both its texture and its mineral edge.
