Graham's

Graham's is one of the established Port houses operating in the Douro Valley of northern Portugal. Founded by the Graham brothers in the early nineteenth century, the firm is now part of the Symington Family Estates, a major force in Port production. Graham's produces Port wines across a range of styles, from non-vintage blended reserves to age-dated tawnies.

Port is a fortified wine made in the Douro Valley, where high-altitude schist vineyards and an extreme continental climate produce intensely concentrated grapes. Tawny Ports undergo extended ageing in small oak casks, which gradually oxidises the wine and shifts its colour from ruby to amber, developing flavours of dried fruit, nuts, and caramel. The age statements on tawnies — 10, 20, and 30 years — refer to the average age of the blended wines rather than a single vintage.

The Graham's range includes the Six Grapes Reserve, a ruby-style Port blended from multiple vintages, alongside the 10, 20, and 30 Year Old Tawnies. Six Grapes has historically served as a house benchmark for non-vintage Port, offering a fuller, fruit-forward profile in contrast to the more oxidative, nutty character that develops with extended tawny ageing.
