Tasting notes
"This XO is the result of a four-hands collaboration: Éric Forget, Hine’s former Cellar Master, and his successor, Paul Szersnovicz, combined their expertise to craft an XO that is bothlively and complex. Hine XO 1er Cru thus embodies continuity and the transmission between generations of Cellar Masters, a symbol of a precious heritage perpetuated with passion. XO 1er Cru is a true tribute to Grande Champagne." PAUL SZERSNOVICZ, CELLAR MASTER Enticing, bright, and complex, Hine XO is a one-of-a-kind cognac. Fruity and full of incomparable vivacity, it showcases the pure expression of Grande Champagne, enhanced beautifully by time. The vibrant essence of citrus fruits is complemented by refreshing, spicy notes. On the nose, it reveals fresh aromas of orange, ginger, and cinnamon. On the palate, floral notes and hints of honey intertwine with ginger and spice, creating a refined and elegant balance.

Key characteristics
About this cognac
Hine XO represents the pinnacle of Cognac craftsmanship, produced by one of the region's most respected houses. Founded in 1763, Hine has maintained its commitment to excellence through generations, drawing exclusively from eaux-de-vie aged in French oak to create spirits of remarkable complexity and refinement.
This XO expression is crafted from Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, the most prestigious terroir within the Cognac appellation. Grande Champagne's chalky limestone soils and temperate climate produce grapes of exceptional quality, resulting in distillates of superior depth and elegance. Hine's meticulous selection and extended aging process ensure a Cognac of sophisticated character and smooth, balanced complexity.
At 40% ABV, Hine XO is versatile enough to enjoy neat as a contemplative digestif or as the foundation for refined cocktails. Its refined profile makes it equally suited to pairing with fine cigars or serving as a distinguished after-dinner spirit in luxury hospitality settings.
