Upon opening, the Pinot Noir offers notes of spiced red tea, turned earth and red cherry skins with a dusty and floral essence. Medium-bodied, with energetic acidity and fine-grained tannins, the palate displays notions of potpourri and dried rose petals before showing a delightful mineral tension. The wine concludes with a spicy tannic edge and will remain food friendly for years. Made from 20% whole-cluster Pinot Noir grapes, the wine matured in 10% new French oak for 10 months before bottling.
