Vite Colte

Vite Colte is a Piedmontese wine producer working across several of the region's key appellations, including Gavi DOCG, Langhe DOC, and Barbera d'Asti DOCG. Their range spans both white and red wines, drawing on grape varieties deeply rooted in northwestern Italy.

Gavi DOCG, in the southeastern corner of Piedmont near the Ligurian border, is built around Cortese, a white grape that typically produces wines with crisp acidity, delicate citrus and floral notes, and a lean mineral character. Barbera d'Asti DOCG, one of Piedmont's most widely planted red appellations, yields wines from Barbera that are typically high in acidity with deep colour and red fruit character. Langhe DOC serves as a broader appellation that accommodates varieties including Nebbiolo, the grape behind Barolo and Barbaresco, though in the Langhe designation it tends to be vinified in a more approachable, earlier-drinking style.

The current range reflects this regional breadth: the Cà da Bosio Gavi works with Cortese, the Rosso Fuoco is a Barbera d'Asti, and the Rosso Corallo is a Nebbiolo under the Langhe DOC — together offering a cross-section of Piedmont's most characterful native varieties.
