Tasting notes

Crafted from vines planted at 350-400 meters in altitude and on clay, limestone soils, the 2023 Roseblood d'Estoublon reveals a fresh, delicate bouquet of grapefruit, lemon, flowers, herbs and iodine. Medium-bodied, juicy and round, it’s fresh with lively acids and a long, mouthwatering, ethereal finish. This is a blend of 65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Cinsault and 5% Rolle.

About this wine

Château d'Estoublon's Roseblood is a distinguished rosé from the Côteaux Varois en Provence appellation, crafted from a thoughtful blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle. This wine exemplifies the fresh, elegant style that has made Provence rosés a cornerstone of fine wine culture. The careful selection of grape varieties creates a wine of notable complexity, combining citrus fruit character with subtle herbaceous notes and a rounded, balanced structure at 12.5% ABV.

Situated in the heart of Provence, Château d'Estoublon benefits from the region's Mediterranean terroir, where limestone soils and abundant sunshine produce grapes of exceptional quality. The winemaking philosophy emphasizes the natural freshness and versatility that define great rosé, making this wine equally at home on a yacht's deck or paired with refined cuisine at a villa table.

Roseblood pairs beautifully with shellfish, lobster, and white fish, while its herbaceous character complements fresh, aromatic dishes and lighter poultry preparations. Whether served as an aperitif or throughout a meal, this Côteaux Varois en Provence rosé delivers the sophistication and refinement expected by discerning palates.
