Domaine Robert Groffier

Domaine Robert Groffier is a small family producer based in Morey-Saint-Denis in the Côte de Nuits section of Burgundy. The domaine works with vineyards in some of Burgundy's finest appellations, focusing exclusively on Pinot Noir production in the traditional Burgundian style.

Bonnes-Mares, where the domaine's current offerings are sourced, is one of Burgundy's most celebrated Grand Cru vineyards. The vineyard straddles the communes of Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny, spanning approximately 15 hectares across a diverse range of soil types and elevations. These geological variations contribute to wines of considerable complexity and depth, typically showing the darker fruit character and structural intensity for which the site is known.

The domaine's Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru represents the traditional expression of this terroir—a wine built on Pinot Noir's capacity for balance between ripe fruit, earthy minerality, and fine-grained tannin structure.
