Domaine Des Campaux

Domaine des Campaux is a wine producer located in the Côtes de Provence appellation in southeastern France. This region forms part of the broader Provence wine area, which stretches across the Mediterranean coastline and inland hills between Marseille and Nice. The estate produces red, white, and rosé wines within the Côtes de Provence AOC framework.

Côtes de Provence is France's largest rosé-producing appellation, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The region's diverse terroir includes limestone hills, schist slopes, and sandy coastal plains, creating varied microclimates suitable for different grape varieties. The mistral wind helps maintain vineyard health by reducing humidity and disease pressure, while the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea moderates temperature extremes.

Domaine des Campaux works with classic Provençal grape varieties including Syrah and Grenache for their red wines, and Rolle (known elsewhere as Vermentino) for white wine production. Their current range includes the Osé Rosé, which blends Grenache, Rolle, and Syrah, the l'Ecuyer Rouge combining Syrah and Grenache, and the Osé Blanc made from Rolle.
