The 2018 Pic Saint Loup Coste d'Aleyrac is aged in tank. Liquorice, blackberries, and black cherries mark the nose, while the palate is medium to full-bodied and richly textured, adding hints of black olive and mocha on the lingering finish.
Aleyrac is a beautiful little Romanesque chapel from the 12th century located in the vineyards. Set in a magical environment in beautiful Mediterranean garrigue, Syrah, Grenache and Carignan thrive here. The nose displays black cherry and rose at first, followed by balck olive, liquorice and spice.
