Carpano

Antonio Benedetto Carpano is a famous liqueur maker from Turin who, in 1786, invented the recipe for vermouth, the Italian aperitif par excellence made from wine and 30 varieties of spices and herbs. This recipe has been preserved until today, and only a very limited quantity of this vermouth rosso, now known as Carpano Antica Formula, is still produced by the Branca group in Italy. It is presented in an old-fashioned bottle, in blown glass, individually numbered.
