Bulleit

Bulleit is a well-known and respected producer of bourbon whiskey, located in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The brand prides itself on its high-quality, small batch bourbon that has been a favorite among whiskey enthusiasts for over 30 years.

The story of Bulleit begins with its founder, Tom Bulleit, who left his job as a lawyer to pursue his passion for whiskey. He set out to create a bourbon that was smooth, yet full of character, and after experimenting with different recipes, he finally found the perfect blend. The result was Bulleit Bourbon, which was officially launched in 1987.

One of the key elements that sets Bulleit apart from other bourbon producers is its use of a high-rye mash bill. Most bourbons use corn as the main ingredient, but Bulleit uses a higher percentage of rye, which gives the bourbon a spicier and more robust flavor profile. This unique blend of corn, rye, and malted barley is aged in charred American oak barrels for at least six years, resulting in a smooth and well-balanced bourbon.

The Bulleit portfolio has expanded over the years to include other variations of bourbon, such as Bulleit Rye and Bulleit 10 Year. Each expression has its own distinct flavor profile, but all are crafted with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality.

In addition to the bourbon, Bulleit also produces a limited-edition 12 Year Rye, which has gained a cult following among whiskey enthusiasts. This rye is made from a blend of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and is aged for 12 years in charred oak barrels. The result is a complex and rich rye with notes of spice, vanilla, and caramel.

The Bulleit brand has gained international recognition and is now sold in over 40 countries worldwide. Its popularity can be attributed not only to the quality of the bourbon,
