Ingredients

  • 60 ml The Real McCoy - Single Blended Rum - 12 yrs
  • 30 ml Demerara syrup (1:1 ratio of demerara sugar to water)
  • 15 ml Fresh lime juice
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 dash Peychaud's bitters

Method

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add the rum, demerara syrup, lime juice, and both bitters.
  3. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  4. Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.

Serve

Coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel placed on the rim of the glass.
