The 2016 Riesling Frédéric Emile reveals a clear, bright and slightly flinty bouquet with citrus aromas and delicate intensity. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a powerful, intense and complex cuvée with persistent salinity and remarkable phenolic structure. Although this is a rather crystalline and filigreed Frédéric Emile, it still needs some time to show its best talents.

About this wine
Nose of white flowers, lime zest and crushed stone. Palate is taut and linear, with green apple, quince and a saline mineral edge over racy acidity. Finish is long, dry and chiselled, built for decades in the cellar.
