About this wine
Lustau's Manzanilla Papirusa is a dry Sherry from Spain's prestigious Jerez-Xeres-Sherry appellation in Andalucia. Crafted from Palomino grapes, this wine embodies the traditional winemaking excellence that has defined the Lustau family for generations. The region's unique terroir, marked by chalk-rich soil and Atlantic breezes, creates the ideal conditions for developing the wine's characteristic crisp, saline profile and medium(+) acidity.
At 15% ABV, this full-bodied Sherry delivers a warming, refined drinking experience. The Manzanilla style showcases the purity of the Palomino varietal with bright, clean flavors shaped by the famous flor yeast aging process unique to Jerez. Its versatility makes it an excellent aperitif or pairing wine for sophisticated entertaining aboard yachts, in private chalets, or at fine dining establishments.
Serve chilled with shellfish, tapas, and small plates, or alongside charcuterie and cured meats boards. The wine's saline character complements roasted nuts, hard cheeses, and fresh herb-forward dishes, making it an essential addition to any refined collection.
