Celebrating its 70th anniversary, Don Julio has released this limited edition tequila packaged in an eye-catching bottle: a uniquely clear Añejo tequila that is aged in American white oak barrels for 18 months and filtered to bring to the fore the bold agave flavour typically found in a Blanco. The result is a crystal-clear tequila that integrates traditional Añejo and Blanco flavours.

**Tequila Eclipse**

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Don Julio
  • 70th Anniversary Tequila
  • 20 ml fresh lime juice
  • 15 ml agave syrup
  • 10 ml Cointreau
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • Lime wheel and a sprig of mint for garnish

Method

  1. Fill a shaker with ice.
  2. Add Don Julio - 70th Anniversary Tequila, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, Cointreau, and orange bitters.
  3. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
  4. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with a lime wheel and a sprig of mint.

Serve

Serve in a sleek coupe glass with a lime wheel floating on the surface and a fresh mint sprig.
