Tasting notes
Bright and expressive on the nose with aromas of white peach, lemon zest, and fresh acacia blossom, underscored by a subtle mineral thread. On the palate, the wine shows clean, precise fruit with flavors of ripe pear, green apple, and a touch of toasted almond. The texture is refreshingly crisp with well-integrated acidity and a clean, medium-length finish that carries a pleasing saline quality typical of the appellation.

Key characteristics
About this wine
Domaine Leflaive is one of Burgundy's most respected white-wine estates, long associated with Puligny-Montrachet at its finest. Their Mâcon-Verzé brings the same biodynamic rigour and winemaking precision to the Mâconnais, producing a village-level Chardonnay that punches well above its appellation.
Expect the house's characteristic purity: clean stone-fruit, a thread of citrus, gentle weight and a mineral freshness that keeps it focused without austerity. On board it serves well as an aperitif, and moves easily through a menu, charcuterie, roast chicken, pasta with cream, aged Comté.
