Tasting notes
Pale straw in the glass with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers fragrant notes of green apple, white peach and pear, layered with delicate acacia blossom, citrus zest and a subtle hint of wild herbs. On the palate it is crisp and lively, with a creamy mousse that carries flavors of orchard fruit and lemon peel. Bright acidity keeps the wine fresh and balanced, while a gentle touch of residual sweetness adds roundness. The finish is clean, aromatic and mineral-tinged, with a pleasant almond note lingering at the close.

About this sparkling wine
Andreola - Col del Forno - Rive di Refrontolo - Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG
Andreola makes Col del Forno from Glera grown around Refrontolo in the Valdobbiadene hills of Veneto. It is a Prosecco Superiore DOCG, and the Rive di Refrontolo designation points to a single hillside village rather than a blend from across the zone. At 11.5% abv, it is light and easy to pour.
Pale straw in the glass, with a fine, persistent bead. The nose is green apple, white peach and pear, with acacia blossom, citrus zest and a trace of wild herbs. The palate is crisp and lively, with a creamy mousse carrying orchard fruit and lemon peel. Bright acidity keeps it fresh, and a gentle touch of residual sweetness rounds the edges. The finish is clean and mineral-tinged, closing on a light almond note.
Glera is the only grape here, the variety behind all Prosecco and valued for its floral, orchard-fruit perfume. The steep slopes of Valdobbiadene typically give a finer aroma and more tension than the flatter vineyards of the wider region.
Serve well chilled in a tulip glass rather than a flute. It suits an aperitif and carries on to the table with charcuterie and cured meats, shellfish, crisp salads, tapas, or tofu and plant-based dishes.
