Álvaro Palacios is a Spanish winemaker based in Priorat, one of Catalonia's most demanding wine regions. Priorat es una Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) ubicada en Cataluña, noreste de España, aproximadamente 100 kilómetros al suroeste de Barcelona. Esta pequeña región montañosa cubre solo 1.900 hectáreas de viñedos tallados en pendientes aterrazadas empinadas en las montañas de la Sierra de Montsant.
