Tasting Notes

ITEM AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE WITHIN FRANCE AND MONACO. This ultra-rare Single Malt, limited to just 333 bottles, embodies Craft Irish Whiskey’s rich heritage and innovative spirit. Building on the celebrated legacy of the inaugural edition, this exceptional five-cask ‘quadruple oak’ whiskey earned Double Gold at the John Barleycorn Awards—the highest accolade in whiskey—underscoring Craft Irish Whiskey’s relentless pursuit of perfection. Matured in an extraordinary selection of barrels—Bourbon-soaked American Oak, Tawny Port French Oak, Pedro Ximénez Sherry American Oak, Hungarian Virgin Oak, and once again, Pedro Ximénez Sherry American Oak—it boasts a complex and indulgent flavor profile. On the palate, expect a harmonious blend of vanilla, caramel, and toasted sugar, deepened by warm, smoky undertones of toasted oak. Hints of dark chocolate intertwine with subtle campfire smoke, culminating in a velvety, rich, and profoundly satisfying finish. Presented in a bespoke, lockable case, this masterpiece is accompanied by two Érimón glasses, a carafe, four semi-precious obsidian whiskey stones, a gold water pipette, barley and an atomizer infused with the essence of The Angel’s Share and barley.

Irish single malt whiskey is produced under similar regulations to Scotch whisky but within Ireland's borders. The spirit must be distilled at a licensed Irish distillery, aged in oak casks for a minimum of three years, and bottled at a minimum of 40% ABV. Irish whiskey production has expanded significantly over the past two decades, with new distilleries complementing established producers across the country. Single malts from Ireland tend toward characteristics influenced by the country's climate and water sources, though flavor profiles vary considerably depending on cask type, distillation methods, and aging conditions employed by individual producers.
