Domaine Pierre Damoy

Pierre Damoy has been in charge of this prestigious estate since 1992. He operates the largest surface area under individual ownership of the famous Clos de Bèze grand cru (more than 5 hectares, including a part reserved for trading), which allows him to carry out strict selections for its bottling, and to present two cuvées. Its other strong point: a very old vine on Chapelle-Chambertin, more supple and tender than its own Chambertin. The viticulture has been reasoned for many years, without the addition of fertilizers. The estate produces classic wines, quite powerful which, for a few vintages, better reflect the expression of the terroirs.
