Tasting notes

Deep purple-black in the glass, with blackberry, damson and a savoury liquorice edge on the nose. The palate is dense and structured, dark plum and graphite over firm tannin, finishing with a peppery, mineral grip typical of Cahors Malbec.

About this wine

Domaine Cosse Maisonneuve Le Combal Cahors is a rich and robust red wine from the Cahors region in France. With a taste profile characterized by bold flavors of dark fruits such as blackberry and plum, this wine also offers notes of earthiness, leather, and a hint of spice. The aroma is intense, with a mix of ripe fruit and subtle oak undertones. What sets this wine apart is its firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish.

Perfect for special occasions or intimate gatherings, Domaine Cosse Maisonneuve Le Combal Cahors pairs wonderfully with hearty dishes like grilled meats, game, or aged cheeses. Its full-bodied nature makes it an excellent choice for cozy evenings by the fireplace or elegant dinner parties.
