The history of Domaine des Comtes Lafon dates back to the 19th century when it was founded by the Lafon family. In 1945, the estate was taken over by Comte Jules Lafon, who expanded the vineyards and implemented sustainable farming practices. Today, the estate is run by Jules' great-grandson, Dominique Lafon, who continues the family's legacy of producing exceptional wines.

Domaine des Comtes Lafon is located in the prestigious Côte de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy, known for its high-quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The estate's vineyards cover a total of 25 hectares, with some of the vines dating back to the 1930s. The unique terroir of the region, with its limestone and clay soils, combined with the expertise of the Lafon family, results in wines with exceptional depth, complexity, and elegance.

The estate produces a range of wines, including the renowned Meursault and Montrachet Grand Crus. These wines are highly sought after by collectors and wine enthusiasts around the world for their rich, buttery texture, and intense flavors of citrus and stone fruits.
