Ultra-Premium & Trophy Wine Provisioning: From Pétrus to Screaming Eagle

The world's finest yachts carry the world's most discerning guests. These are people for whom quality is the baseline, not the aspiration — people who recognise exactly what they are being offered, and whose standards are without ceiling. When those guests come aboard, the cellar must be worthy of them. Onshore Cellars is the only yacht specialist that routinely supplies the first-growth Bordeaux, DRC Grand Crus, Super-Tuscans, and cult Californians that define the world's greatest collections. This is not aspirational language. It is documented by our sales records.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti: The Pinnacle

In our most recent full season, we supplied Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche Grand Cru across three vintages. We supplied DRC Romanée-Saint-Vivant, DRC Corton Grand Cru, DRC Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, DRC Richebourg, and DRC Échézeaux across multiple vintages. These are wines that the world's most serious collectors fight to acquire. Our clients can simply order them.

These are the wines that define the pinnacle of Burgundy — indeed, the pinnacle of world wine. They are available through a small number of trusted négociants globally. We are one of them for the superyacht market, and we take that responsibility seriously. Every DRC bottle we supply is authenticated, provenance-verified, and delivered in exactly the condition the winery intended.

Pétrus: The Most Famous Wine in the World

We supplied six vintages of Château Pétrus in our most recent season — the 1989, 1990, 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2009. The 2000 vintage was supplied The 2009 These are wines that represent the absolute pinnacle of Pomerol and, by most accounts, of all red wine. When a charter guest requests Pétrus, we have it.

Château Margaux: First-Growth at Every Level

We supplied Château Margaux across the 1985, 1997, 2000, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018 vintages. The 2015 vintage moved 20 bottles average. The 2000 moved 17 bottles We also supplied Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux. The depth of our Margaux inventory — spanning four decades of vintages — is matched by no other yacht provisioner.

We supplied DRC La Tâche , Pétrus 2000 Château Margaux 2015 and Screaming Eagle 2021 These are not wines available through general distribution. They are available because of who we are and the relationships we have built.

The Super-Tuscans

Sassicaia — the founding wine of the Super-Tuscan category — moved across seven vintages in a single season. Tignanello across nine. Masseto — perhaps Italy's greatest red wine — across five. Ornellaia, Solaia, Vega Sicilia Unico, and Opus One all moved in meaningful volumes. This is a Super-Tuscan and trophy wine range that no Italian restaurant cellar, and certainly no other yacht provisioner, could match.

Cult California

We supplied Screaming Eagle 2021 Screaming Eagle 2012 Opus One across multiple vintages, DuMOL Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley, Kosta Browne, Belle Glos, and Paul Lato. California cult wines are increasingly requested by the American charter demographic, and we have made the West Coast a specific focus of our sourcing programme.

Why the Allocation System Matters — and Why We Have It

The world's greatest wines are not available to order from a catalogue. They are allocated. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti releases its wines through a small number of carefully selected négociants globally. The great Champagne prestige cuvées are similarly restricted. Screaming Eagle produces fewer than 2,000 cases per year. Casa Ferreirinha Barca Velha is made in extraordinary rareness. These wines reach their buyers through relationships — relationships that take years to build and that require consistent, serious engagement with the producers and importers who control the stock.

Onshore Cellars has spent more than a decade building exactly these relationships. We hold standing allocations from the major Champagne houses for Dom Pérignon, Cristal, Krug, Salon, and Taittinger Comtes de Champagne. We have direct relationships with the négociants who control DRC allocations. We source Sassicaia, Masseto, Ornellaia, and Tignanello directly from Italian specialist importers. This network is not replicable quickly. It represents a decade of investment in supplier relationships, and it is reflected in the range we can offer that no standard provisioner — in the UK, Netherlands, or anywhere else — can match.

When a provisioner offers you a wine list, ask yourself: can they actually get these wines, today, from standing stock in their own warehouse? Or are they listing aspirationally, with actual availability dependent on a supply chain they do not control? Onshore Cellars stocks the wines we list. The data shows it.

Burgundy: The Full Range

Our Burgundy range extends from Bourgogne Rouge to the greatest Grand Crus. Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru from multiple domaines (Etienne Sauzet, Jacques Prieur, Henri Boillot). Chablis Grand Cru from William Fèvre and Vincent Dauvissat. Gevrey-Chambertin from Denis Mortet and David Duband. Vosne-Romanée from multiple producers. We moved 70 bottles of Louis Jadot Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatieres 1er Cru alone. For a guest who drinks Burgundy seriously, we are the only yacht supplier who can meet them at their level.
