Cherry colour and ruby highlights. Nose with notes of red fruits and aromas of wild berries (myrtle), pepper and spices. A complex aromatic palette on the palate with fine, silky tannins for an intense fruity finish.

About this wine
This Vin de Corse rouge from Domaine Comte Abbatucci blends Niellucio and Sciaccarello, the two grapes that define Corsican red wine. Niellucio brings structure and dark fruit, Sciaccarello lends aromatic lift and a wild, herbal edge shaped by the island's granite and maquis-covered hillsides.
The result is a red with genuine character, savoury, spiced and food-friendly rather than heavy. Serve at 16-18°C with lamb, beef or charcuterie, and don't hesitate to pour it alongside truffles or grilled lamb chops, where its earthy, herbal register really comes into its own.
