Chateau de la Maltroye

Chateau de la Maltroye

Château de la Maltroye is an authentic Burgundy estate. Housed in its 18th-century glazed-tiled Château in Chassagne-Montrachet, this estate cultivates fifteen hectares in the Côte de Beaune region and primarily produces wines in the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation. The Château has been owned by the Cournut family since 1940. Château de la Maltroye produces 70,000 bottles: 60% white and 40% red.

Château de la Maltroye is passionate about Chassagne-Montrachet: 13 hectares are dedicated to this great Côte de Beaune appellation. This terroir is unique in producing both white and red wines. The Château's wine range is comprehensive: Burgundy appellations, villages, premiers crus, and a grand cru, Bâtard-Montrachet. Two additional hectares are planted in Santenay, further south on the Côte de Beaune.
