Chateau Giscours

Château Giscours is a wine estate located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux's Left Bank. The property holds Third Growth status in the 1855 Classification and produces red wines from traditional Bordeaux grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.

The Margaux appellation is renowned for producing some of Bordeaux's most elegant and perfumed wines. The region's gravelly soils, particularly well-suited to Cabernet Sauvignon, contribute to wines that typically display finesse, aromatic complexity, and refined tannins rather than power alone. Margaux wines are often characterized by their floral notes, silky texture, and ability to age gracefully over decades.

Château Giscours produces both its grand vin under the estate name and a second wine called La Sirène de Giscours. The estate's wines follow the classic Bordeaux blend structure, combining the three principal Left Bank varieties to create wines that reflect the distinctive terroir of their Margaux vineyards.
