The 2017 Prima Donna Pinot Noir epitomizes what this bottling is all about: finesse, silkiness and harmony. Scents of cola, spice, black cherries and earth come together seamlessly on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is smooth and supple yet lively, bright and invigorating, with a long, mouthwatering finish.
Peg Bay's 2016 Prima Donna Pinot Noir is atypically taut and crisp, with fresh raspberries joining sandalwood on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied, enlivened by vibrant acidity and framed by just-barely-ripe tannins of sturdy silk, finishing long and intense, hinting at cranberries and mocha.
