Tasting notes
The largest-production wine in the portfolio at approximately 2,300 cases, the 2022 Chardonnay UV-SL hints at powder-sugared brioche on the nose, backed by lemon-lime notes and some apple-ish fruit. From multiple rootstocks and clonal selections, it's full-bodied and expansive on the palate, generous, rich and long. Don't be fooled into thinking this is "just" the entry-level wine, it's serious stuff.

About this wine
Aubert Wines has earned a reputation for crafting exceptional single-vineyard Chardonnays from California's most prestigious coastal regions. The UV-SL Vineyard bottling represents the producer's commitment to terroir-driven winemaking, showcasing the unique characteristics of Sonoma Coast fruit. This full-bodied white wine captures the maritime influence and cool-climate elegance that define the appellation, delivering complexity and refinement in every glass.
The Sonoma Coast appellation, renowned for its ocean-moderated temperatures and mineral-rich soils, produces Chardonnays of remarkable balance and aging potential. Aubert's meticulous vineyard selection and winemaking philosophy emphasize the natural expression of the fruit, resulting in wines that layer citrus and tropical notes with toasty, yeasty characteristics. These are wines built for the table, pair with grilled seafood, roasted poultry, or creamy pasta dishes to fully appreciate their structure and depth.
