Tasting notes

This golden-yellow coloured Sancerre offers a stunningly deep, dense and tight bouquet of crushed stones, herbs and concentrated fruit aromas intermixed with refreshing and brightening floral and mineral notes. On the palate, this is an intensely fruity, mouth-filling and densely textured Sancerre with smooth acidity but lingering mineral grip on the quite powerful finish with candied citrus fruit aromas.

About this wine

Pascal Jolivet is a renowned producer of Sancerre Blanc, a white wine that hails from the Loire Valley in France. The history of Sancerre Blanc dates back to the 14th century, when the wine was first produced by monks in the region. Today, Sancerre Blanc is known for its crisp, refreshing taste and its ability to pair well with a variety of foods.

Pascal Jolivet's Sancerre Blanc is made using only the finest grapes from the region. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected to ensure that only the best fruit is used in the production of the wine. The grapes are then gently pressed to extract the juice, which is fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine's fresh, fruity flavors.

The style of production used by Pascal Jolivet is focused on creating a wine that is true to the terroir of the region. The winery uses sustainable farming practices to ensure that the grapes are grown in harmony with the environment. The result is a wine that is both delicious and environmentally friendly.

Pascal Jolivet's Sancerre Blanc is a classic example of the style of wine produced in the Loire Valley. The wine is light and crisp, with notes of citrus and green apple. It is a perfect accompaniment to seafood, salads, and other light dishes.

Overall, Pascal Jolivet's Sancerre Blanc is a must-try for anyone who appreciates a well-made white wine. Its history, style of production, and delicious taste make it a standout among the many wines produced in the Loire Valley.
