A red summer wine, it expresses the crisp fruit of the Provencal grape varieties. Round on the palate, with plenty of character.
Ruby red, highly aromatic, easy to drink with an explosion of berries, cranberries, raspberries and redcurrants. Then in come more understated but equally present black berries such as blackcurrant before ending on a liquorice high.

Nestled between land and sea in the heart of Provence, Château Minuty has been the wine estate of the Matton-Farnet family for more than 85 years over four generations and has been a Côtes de Provence Classified Growth since 1955.

The vineyard of Château Minuty is remarkably well exposed on the hillsides of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle, overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. It benefits from a temperate maritime climate and gives pride of place to southern grape varieties.

Provence is a region in the south-east of France that is renowned for its production of rosé wines. The history of winemaking in Provence dates back to ancient times, with the Greeks and Romans introducing viticulture to the region. The style of production in Provence is heavily influenced by the Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. The wines produced in Provence are typically light and refreshing, with a pale pink colour and delicate aromas of red fruits and flowers. The most common grape varieties used in Provence are Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. In addition to rosé, Provence also produces red and white wines, as well as fortified wines such as Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise. Overall, Provence is a region that is known for its high-quality wines that are perfect for enjoying on a warm summer day.
