Allegrini is a family winery based in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, specifically in the Valpolicella area near Verona. The producer focuses on red wines, drawing on the distinctive terroir and grape varieties of this historic wine region. Their portfolio reflects a commitment to the traditional styles that have defined Valpolicella for centuries.

The Valpolicella region is known for wines made from Corvina and related indigenous varieties, with production methods ranging from fresh, approachable reds to the more concentrated Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG. Amarone is produced through a controlled drying process (appassimento) that concentrates the grapes' sugars and flavors before fermentation, resulting in full-bodied wines with higher alcohol content and complex dried fruit characteristics.
