Voski

Voski is a wine producer associated with Zorah Wines, a project based in Armenia. Zorah was founded with a focus on reviving indigenous Armenian grape varieties and ancient winemaking traditions in one of the world's oldest wine-producing regions. Armenia's winemaking history stretches back thousands of years, and the country's high-altitude vineyards — particularly in the volcanic soils of the Rind and Yeghegnadzor areas — provide conditions suited to producing wines of distinct mineral character and freshness.

Armenia's indigenous grape varieties are largely unknown outside the country, making producers like Zorah significant in terms of preserving viticultural heritage. The country's continental climate, combined with elevations often exceeding 1,400 metres, results in grapes with naturally high acidity and concentrated flavour. White varieties in particular benefit from the cool nights that extend the growing season and preserve aromatic complexity.

The Voski expression from Zorah is a white wine built on a rare Armenian white blend. "Voski" means "gold" in Armenian, a name that reflects the project's connection to local identity and tradition. The wine is produced using grape varieties native to the South Caucasus, a region increasingly recognised as a cradle of viticulture.
