Timeless - Napa Valley

With richness and depth of flavour, the Timeless Napa Valley is the embodiment of patience and meticulous craftsmanship. Decades of experience at Soda Canyon Ranch allow winemaker Nate Weis and his team to highlight the unique qualities of each vineyard block. By combining the strongest lots, they have crafted a refined and harmonious bottling. The 2020 vintage benefited from the significant diurnal shift at Soda Canyon Ranch, resulting in a darker, richer fruit profile of Cabernet Sauvignon. The cool overnight recovery periods allowed for expressive and refined Merlot, imparting a bright, red fruit profile to the wine. The extended harvest window also contributed to the signature plush density and structure of Petit Verdot, which is present in the final blend. The floral and tobacco-like aromatics of Petit Verdot are accentuated, while its more assertive tannins are softened for a smoother finish. After blending, the wine rested for 16 months in French oak barrels, which developed flavours of vanilla and baking spices. Velvety tannins dance across the palate, alongside bright, lingering notes of cassis. With a smooth finish, this wine is a comforting expression of elegance and depth, offering a sophisticated reflection of the serene summer.
