Barbaresco DOCG, where La Spinetta operates, is one of Piedmont's most significant wine appellations, located in the Langhe hills southeast of Alba. The region is renowned for producing some of Italy's finest Nebbiolo-based wines, which must be aged for a minimum of two years including nine months in wood.
