Elegant, bright ruby red. On the nose, raspberries and fresh cherries, a touch of sealing wax and oak notes. On the palate, hearty, with pronounced, juicy fruit, some savouriness and integrated oak. Currently still seems youthful and will develop further.
Burato from Giuseppe Quintarelli is a masterwork of Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, one of Italy's most prestigious red wine expressions. Crafted from the traditional Valpolicella Blend in the Veneto region, this full-bodied wine embodies the estate's dedication to quality and elegance. The pronounced intensity and warming character of Amarone emerge from the ancient appassimento technique, where grapes are dried before fermentation to concentrate flavors and natural sugars.
Giuseppe Quintarelli has long been regarded as a custodian of Valpolicella's finest traditions, producing wines of remarkable freshness and complexity despite their considerable depth. At 14.5% ABV, Burato strikes a sophisticated balance between power and refinement, delivering a wine suited to serious collectors and discerning palates. The structure and aging potential make it an exceptional choice for cellaring or immediate enjoyment.
Burato pairs beautifully with rich, savory dishes: aged beef, venison, duck, and lamb all shine alongside this wine. It also complements blue cheese, truffles, aged cheeses, and cured meats, making it ideal for fine dining, private cellars, and formal entertaining at villas and chalets.
