This 18 year old Japanese single malt from the Hakushu distillery in Hokuto was launched in 2006 to complement the 10 and 12 year old selections. Bottled at 43% abv, this expression from the “forest distillery” is deeply fragrant with notes of fruit and hay on the nose. The palate has a soft, woody side with a rich body. Designed to taste clean and elegant with a touch of smokiness on the finish.
