The wine displays a medium-intense cherry colour, clear and luminous. On the first nose, it is immediately expressive, revealing aromas of small red fruits such as strawberry and cherry, complemented by hints of mint and thyme blossom. With aeration, the bouquet deepens and becomes more structured and powerful, offering woody and smoky nuances, notes of blond tobacco, and a persistent minty freshness. In the background, delicate floral hints of violet and iris emerge. The palate opens with a round, soft attack, bringing a sensation of sweetness balanced by freshness and finesse. Smooth, lively tannins provide a fine framework that supports the wine’s vibrant fruit profile. Flavours of juicy cherries and stewed strawberries dominate, lifted by touches of vanilla and refreshing mint. The finish lingers warmly, with notes of plum and subtle smoky accents.
The wine has a medium intense cherry colour. It is clear and shiny. The first nose is expressive of small red fruits such as strawberry and cherry. There is also mint and thyme flower. The second smell is more constructed, powerful with woody but also smoky notes. There is blond tobacco and still some minty freshness. Some floral elements appear in the background with the violet and the iris. The attack is round with a sensation of sweetness. There is freshness and delicacy. The tannins are smooth and acidulous. They participate by giving a frame to the fruity aromatic of the wine. There are juicy cherries but also stewed strawberries. There is vanilla and mint always for freshness. The finish is on plum, warm with some smoky aromas.

Léoube’s vineyard story begins in Provence, home to the oldest vineyards in France retaining the secrets of life, perfumes and sunny foods deep in its heart.

Léoube estate is rooted between the sea and the hills, offering a unique terroir: 68 hectares of vines and 23 hectares of olive groves, all devoted to growing the grapes and olives that make their organic wines and olive oils. For more than 20 years Léoube hs been cultivating and working the soils in line with their principles of organic farming. In 1998, Léoube started the long process of converting the vineyard and olive grove; restoring the crops, redeveloping the plots, working the soil with the greatest care and planting vines according to the flow of water to avoid erosion. Banning the use of any pesticides and chemicals, to produce only what the land can offer.

As the founders of Daylesford Organic – one of the UK’s most sustainable farms – the Bamford family are passionate about environmentally friendly farming and wished to bring this natural approach to Léoube. Farming in harmony with nature. It is not constrained, but supported, considering the natural cycle of the seasons and respecting the balance of each plant in its environment. Léoube truly embodies their philosophy; to make the world of today and tomorrow more sustainable in order to leave a better planet for future generations.
