Intense straw yellow with abundant golden reflections. Buttery and vanilla nuances combine with flavoUrs of apple, pear and tropical fruit, so as to compose a rich and complex bouquet. The palate is broad and soft, full-bodied and supported by a good acidic shoulder. Long persistence, with an aftertaste that recalls toasted hazelnuts.

Onshore Cellars - ICONIC Producer

Bellavista is recognised for making some of the best sparkling wines in Italy and this success partly comes from the direction of their Head Winemaker, Mattia Vezzolla. He was honoured as “Oenologist of the year” by the Italian guide “Gambero Rosso-Slow Food” in 2007 for his key contribution in developing the Franciacorta DOCG.

The winery was established in 1977 in Franciacorta (which literally means ‘short France’) by Vittorio Moretti, who also owns Contadi Castaldi in the same region, and Petra and Tenuta La Badiola in Maremma. Today, Bellavista owns 195 hectares of land covering almost 10% of Franciacorta producing around 1,150,000 bottles a year.
